Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a collection of web services that provide in-the-cloud computing, storage, messaging, and more. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers.

Tarzan is a collection of PHP5 classes intended to make it as easy as possible to use Amazon's web services, allowing developers to write as little code as possible. At the time of this writing, Tarzan has complete support for S3, SQS, and SimpleDB, as well as partial (in-progress) support for EC2 and Amazon Associates Web Service (AAWS).

I developed Tarzan as part of the upcoming WarpShare service, and released it under the open-source Simplified BSD license so that other members of the community can benefit from (and contribute to) this work.
