Guidelines for writing to me
Because of the wide variety of psychos, sociopaths, and rude, demanding people on the internet these days, I've been forced to put together a few guidelines for contacting me.
- This is mostly intended for getting in touch, meeting new people, and normal sort of "how do you do?" stuff. It is not for jackasses who want to harass somebody they don't know. Write me, introduce yourself, it's all cool. Act like a jackass? No thanks.
- Are you a recruiter? I'll tell you up front that I don't like to have my time wasted. If you have an awesome front-end development position available at a killer company, that's cool. If you want me to administrate Oracle Portal or write .NET code, I'm going to punch you in the throat.
- If what you have to say relates to SimplePie in ANY way, use the mailing list (or file a bug). If what you have to say relates to Tarzan AWS, use the mailing list. If what you have to say relates to Brainz, you can post here, but only because we don't yet have a discussion group.
- If you want to ask me questions about any of the old Skyzyx.com scripts that I used to have, I don't have them anymore, I don't remember them, I don't use them, and I'm not going to provide support for them. Not even if you ask real nice. Sorry.
- Anyone else, feel free to drop me a line. I really am a friendly person. :)
